Groundwork's Places Team start work on exciting SUDS Pilot project

Groundwork's Places team are currently developing a new SUDS (sustainable urban drainage systems) pilot project with the Environment Agency and Nottingham City Council along the Day Brook in Sherwood.

The project will help to reduce flooding, improve water quality and improve biodiversity. Watch this space as this exciting project develops!


Completed project launches at Archers Field, Stapleford

A celebration and planting event is planned for the completion of biodiversity and access improvements at Archers Field in Stapleford. Working with Broxtowe Borough Council, the work has improved access around Archers Field, creating new footpaths, a wetland area and new seating. Celebrations for new park at Knowle Lane Recreation Ground, Kimberley

Local councillors and children from Kimberley Primary School helped to launch new play facilities at Knowle Lane Recreation Ground in Kimberley.

New climbing equipment, basket swings and an embankment slide amongst other equipment was installed on the site and local children and councillors helped to formally open the site with an autumn celebration.
